Brush Your Face With A Toothbrush And Look Younger

Do you want to know a really cheap way to make your face look younger? Of course you will! Who doesn't?
Well, get yourself two dollars, brush your teeth and you'll be on your way. Brushing your face regularly (yes, your face) with a toothbrush will help keep your skin youthful. Don't trust me? Tempted to stop reading? I know it sounds nutty, but stay with me. Have you heard about the company Sonicare? They make electric toothbrushes. Do you know? Now they are also making brushes for FACE. The same design, just a little bigger. It costs $ 200. Those who have it look like it. If you have an extra $ 200, by all means, buy it. But if you only have an extra $ 2, I promise you, a regular hairbrush, used correctly, will give you great results. I've been doing it for 15 years now and even though I'm well into my 40s, I'm still being asked for an I.D. at Trader Joe's when I bought red wine. (If you're excited about anti-aging, red wine is the only alcohol you should drink, by the way.)
Here's what you do:
1. Wet your face and neck with warm water. You may want to open your pores by using a warm towel for a few minutes.
2. Apply your preferred skin cleanser to your face and neck. If you have dry skin, you may want to use a moisturizer. If it is oily, you can use something that treats oily skin. Use whatever is already applied to your skin. Apply it to the entire face and neck, unless it is an acne formula, then apply a little drying to the skin around your eyes. (You may want to do the eyes separately.)
3. Apply a cleaner to the toothbrush. This helps the brush to slide on the skin more smoothly.
4. Begin slowly brushing your teeth in small circles. Where you start is up to you, but I like to start with the side of the mouth where a laugh shape is formed.
Brush clockwise and grasp the needle across the cheek, chin. On the forehead, you can brush in circles as well as up and down. Pay attention to the area between your eyebrows, sweaty lines appear. Brush in circles, clockwise and clockwise. If you have a higher line on the forehead, than lifting your eyebrows, brush between the lines as well as up and down.
5. Do the last points. And be very gentle in this area. If you have used a drying detergent, wash the brush before you do the eyes and apply something moisturizing. You can also brush with moisturizer in the eye area. Place the brush on the outside of the eye closest to your hairline, where you may have crow's feet, and brush GENTLY in the direction of the nose bridge. When you start, use only a few strokes of the brush. No more than four starts. As you do more often, you use more pressure and more blows, but start slowly.
6. Even with mild pressure, your skin may appear red, depending on your skin tone. Do not worry. The redness will subside within minutes. If it doesn't take less than an hour, you may have pushed too hard, or this procedure may not work for your skin. Start with very little pressure and build over time if you see good results. If your face becomes inflamed or irritates your skin it may be too sensitive to this.
7. Always, always, always, without exception, follow this with some kind of moisturizer. Use one that you have used that you know works well for your skin. If you are sweating during the day, use a moisturizer with sunscreen, preferably with SPF of 30 or higher. If you brush at night, follow with a great night cream.
Nighttime is when the skin repairs itself, so if you do brush it, following it with night creams designed to enhance and repair, and you sleep, you will get extra benefits. This is because brushing and peeling prepares the skin for the product to penetrate more effectively.
Do this regularly, several times a week and you'll notice that your skin looks clearer, younger, less lined and more vibrant.
Why this? Some reasons:
1. Brush with blood to the skin surface. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells. So you help "nourish," your skin when you brush it. When you do this regularly, you are healing your skin regularly. If you eat well, it will improve the quality of blood delivered to your skin tissue. So eat a good diet and the results will improve.
2. This exfoliation helps get rid of dead skin cells. When we are young, our skin cells change regularly without help. However, during the process, the process slows down and the old cells cling to the surface longer, resulting in dull skin. Regular skin exfoliation helps the skin in the acquisition of these cells, allowing older skin to look younger.
3. Exfoliation also removes dirt from the pores, helping to keep them cleaner and smaller. As we age, our pores begin to look bigger. Cleansing pores helps skin look smoother and tighter.
4. Destroy the stimulation of the muscles beneath the surface of the skin, just like how they will be stimulated by the massage. When you go over the skin, brush the circles and go up and down certain areas, the small muscles below the surface of the skin are stimulated. Blood flow to the muscles occurs. These stimuli help to maintain these muscles in ways they could not. If the muscles under the skin remain conditioned, your face will improve over time and be healthy.
When I first brush my teeth, I limit it a few times a week. This is what I suggested for you when you started out. Everyone's skin is different, so you will find what works best for you. When you start, make sure you use the SOFT BRISTLE toothbrush. Get up slowly. If your skin responds well to the procedure (you can tell by the way it looks and feels) it's okay to do it daily or daily. When I first started, many years ago, I only brushed it a few times a week. Now I can brush everyday and my skin loves it.
