Aging Gracefully Without Botox or Plastic Surgery

I'll be the first to admit that aging sucks, but there are some great ways you can actually look and feel younger than you are, without botox or plastic surgery. The Baby Boomer generation of aging is now obsessed with youthful appearance (thanks to Media hype). Why do you think Plastic Surgery is such a booming industry? But come to think of it, do you really want to look like Joan Rivers, who has had so much plastic surgery that she looks like she's in a boxing ring and gone? She can hardly smile anymore! There are many nightmares of plastic surgery that have ruined women's lives beyond their means. How would you like to have a breast like Pamela Anderson at 80? Yikes, that's a scary thought! What about all those grandmas with tattoos and piercings? Generations before we knew how to grow old gracefully (without the help of Botox or lift lifts), we could learn a lot from them.
Let's see what Happens to our Skin and Hair as Our Age: The effects of sun exposure, smoking, diet, and heredity become apparent on our skin as we age. Stress, gravity, and obesity also affect the health of the skin. And when we get older, our skin doesn't produce new cells right away. The skin gradually becomes less elastic and prone to dryness. Something similar happens to the cells that give our hair color. Hair pigment cells become less efficient for self-renewal, which makes our hair gray.
Here are some great tips on how to take care of your skin, to help you look and feel 10 years younger:
Stay away from direct sunlight when the sun is at its strongest (betting 10am -4pm). If you are outdoors, use a sun hat and sunscreen or anti-aging moisturizer with SPF 15 and UVB and UVA protection. Damage to the skin from excessive sun exposure or insecurity results in uneven wrinkles and skin tones, and the worst case of all skin cancers.
Eat right and hydrate.Good nutrition helps the skin repair the body. Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated from the inside out.
