How to Prevent Stress From Causing Premature Eye Wrinkles

Gray hair in unwanted places. Lack of energy. Lower sex drive (or higher). Ah, the joy of aging. Now we can add shocking facts to grow longer - the resistance is down to the pressure. While stress naturally takes a toll on your mind and body, your ability to counteract the negative effects of stress decreases with age.
As you age, your body loses some of its ability to recover from physical and emotional stress. Aging appears to accelerate and premature eye wrinkles often result.
It is natural to relax the skin around the eyes when you are older but if you experience severe or frequent stress, the fine skin around the eyes is exposed to faster conditions.
Fortunately, there are practical things you can do to reduce your stress levels and save your eyes from premature wrinkles. Here are some:
Get enough sleep
Stress often causes you to lose sleep. If you are constantly tired from lack of sleep, you become depressed. This causes a nasty little pocket under your eyes to be known as an eye bag.
Not only does stress cause sleep deprivation but lack of sleep can cause more stress. You can get out of this cycle with simple daily exercises.
Sleeping at the same time every night can also help. If you are still having difficulty sleeping, consult your doctor. You should get enough sleep to prevent your eyes from premature wrinkles among other health problems.
Cut Back On Your Schedule
More than doing is the main source of stress. There aren't enough hours in the day for you to manage and do everything that crosses your path. Just as getting enough sleep will help you fight stress, taking better time during the day to do less is also helpful. This applies to commitment at work and at home.
When you reduce your commitment, your stress level is automatically reduced. And that's the right goal? Stress is less like the pressure being reduced to your body, especially your eyes.
Turn off the Screen
Screen addiction is on the rise. MP3 players, televisions, smartphones, video games and more are sucking people into the screen at one hour. The extra time you spend in front of the screen causes a bit of tension in the eyes. That's because your eyes need frequent breaks from looking at it all day.
As entertaining as possible, sitting in front of the screen for hours on end can do irreparable damage to your eyes - inside and out.
Growing older doesn't mean giving to a weak body. However, stress will make you look older. You can fight premature wrinkles around the eyes by limiting your stress. Getting enough sleep, cutting back on your schedule and limiting the time you spend in front of the screen can help.
