  1. I'm 22 I don't frown a lot but I have deep Marionette Lines. They show when I smile. Do I really have a bad RBF

  2. Can facelift using threads improve the oral commissures ( corners of mouth that make it look downturned) if a person doesn’t have marionette lines and only have those downturned corners?

  5. Love your videos! My doctor put a tiny bit of filler in the corners of my lips, but now my saliva keeps pooling in the corners of my mouth and I have to constantly wipe it away. It's been over a month since the injections - is this normal?

  6. I’m not looking to get any procedures myself right now but I watch your channel for this type of content, you’re very smart! I really like your approach to beauty, very interesting! Unfortunately not all professionals think this way.

  7. Doctor, you're brutally genuine and knowledgeable.
I'm a novice to facial aesthetics but filling the marionette lines has never seemed a great idea to me for the exact same reasons as you have just discussed. Please keep this videos coming, I'm learning a lot here. Thank you

One day If I travel to Australia you will be in the priority list for my agenda.๐Ÿ˜Š Maybe I will try botox and get some helpful tips as well. More Power!!๐Ÿ’–

  11. What do you think about the combination of Radio Frequency reduction of lower face volume, RF tightening of the face generally and a thread lift. My favorite!๐Ÿ˜

  12. Thank you very much for this video! I got to the same conclusion as client. I am 32, I have great skin and no wrinkles, but I started to develop marionette lines several years ago. I tried Botox and fillers for several times, but nothing had an impact. So, I understood that the only solution is a face lift. But I am still too young for it. May be, I will go for it in several years.
Thank you very much for your advice!

  13. I could not agree more after having filler in the marionette lines (I'm 52). It looked lumpy and did not improve the area very much. I was contemplating getting Voluma in the cheeks to lift the area, but after listening to you, Dr. I don't think so. Perhaps, laser is a better way to go for this area?

  18. I appreciate the in depth reasoning in this video of why fillers in the marionette lines don't work, and how it would take too much in the cheeks to get any lift, and would look ridiculous. I already have very chubby cheeks when I smile, so when someone tries to sell me on cheek filler for lifting of the nasolabial folds or marionette lines, I'm always skeptical. I've tried fillers in all 3 areas to no avail. And was not willing to get an excessive amount in my cheeks and look crazy.

A little feedback: The girl in the video with what looks like blood is running down her face is creepy, it made me want to stop the video! But you are very honest and knowledgeable, and that I appreciate! I agree with others, use a more mature model. thanks! :)

QUESTION: I landed here looking to see if lip fillers could help turn the corners of my mouth up a bit? Then I see that you put a tiny bit in the side for this. What type of filler, and how much on each side approximately? (I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, so I can't come see you) Would a little bit of plumping of the lips help distract from the marionette lines too? I have some drooping in the jowls, so I'm skeptical of any injections in the jaw line. Is there another treatment you'd recommend for that? I'm not ready for face lift, and a bit afraid of that too. Also...I have acne scars in the area where the marionette lines are, and I believe they contribute to the increased look of the folds, is there a fix for this?
    THANK YOU!

  20. Fillers have made thing worse. Last time I was inject in my cheeks the thing is I naturally have a thin face and high cheek bones "SO"!!!! Having round forward cheeks clash with my facal structure. And when you explain this to the person adding filler the ack and nod as if they understand but they are to stupid to understand that.
