  1. So, I’m searching for your Lightstim follow up video...it’s been over 2 years....๐Ÿ˜‰I’m getting one

  2. I think they have an app for the timer.

  3. I believe that getting the infrared light in your eyes is not good for your eyes so do be careful to wear the goggles or keep your eyes closed while using it. It will take time, as you said, to see the results. But consistency is the key! Thanks!

  4. Where's the long term review?   How are your results now?

  5. I used this for months and noticed nothing loll If you need a timer,  Lightstim  has an app  for that..

  6. Donna, I look forward to the next Light Stem review. I am subscribing.

  7. Mine has a timer. Maybe new model, I see this video is a couple of years ago. Amazing that you got results in 2 weeks, the information that came with my device said 6 weeks before I'd see anything. Hope I get results sooner. I watch TV or youtube videos while I'm using it, and the time goes by pretty quickly. I use Retin-A as well, but I use it at least 30 minutes after I use the Light Stim, and I only use the Retin A 3 days a week. They'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hand before I give that up!! :)

  8. Hi, Donna! Great videos! You may already know this, but just in case... Lightstim has an app in the App Store. It's primarily just a treatment timer, but it also has user guides for each of the lights (Wrinkles, Acne, and Pain). Just FYI for you in case you weren't aware. Best of luck with your efforts. Keep on keepin' on!

  9. Hi Donna,
I also have the tria age defying laser device. How do you incorporate the two? Can you use one after the other or do you use it when you take a break with the tria? Thanks, Paola

  10. Great video Donna, thank you so much.
However, I am just wondering will this product darker my age spot/dark spot?? I am so afraid it helps my wrinkle but on the other hand my dark spot get worse.
Do you have any experience or idea about that? Thanks.

  14. Thank you so much for your review. I have one of these things, NOW I am going to get it out and stick to it. I trust your review. I wanted the Tria too but wouldn't let myself get it because my LIghtstim got kicked to the curb. I do see an improvement on your skin, nobody knows their skin better than the owner!

  15. Hi Donna, I'm hoping you check old videos for messages.  You're now at about 8 weeks or more, I think, using the Lightstim.  I believe that's how long the company says to give it before assessing results.  I think you said you'd do an update after a month or so from filming this one.  Would love to hear what you think now, and also would like to know if you're using it on dรฉcolletรฉ, hands, neck, etc.  Thanks, I enjoy your videos! Beth

  16. mine gets hot is that normal ? will that harm the skin or no?

  17. I bought it and used it once for ten minutes. It's sitting here, staring at me, so I guess I'll start doing it every evening. I bought mine from a very ethical dealer on eBay for $110 (the regular-size one, not the tinier one). People always compliment me on my skin but the truth is that it's all illusion. I do great makeup. And when I remove my makeup, oy vey.

  18. I find since I started using the lightstim about 3 months ago ,it did plump up my skin but I find I now have tiny little pores opening up in my skin so I don't know if the lightstim is causing it as I never had open pores before ,

  19. About 7 years ago I used the Lumiere facial lamp at a salon, (I was lucky and paid a monthly flat fee instead of per treatment). It did wonders and works on the same principle as Lightstim. Things people need to know about this therapy are:
1- You will probably find that you need to use more moisturiser than you did before as the skin can feel tight especially for the 1st few months. This is a good thing as it means that the skin is activated and the device is doing what it should.
2-Commitment is the key in the 1st 2-3 months.
3-It won't work on eyelids and should not be placed over the closed eye, however it can be placed right up to the eye according to the manufacturer.
4-So sorry to say this but I think I heard Joanie-Ann, the Lightstim owner, say that retin A shouldn't really be used when using lightstim. I think it's something to do with the two treatments not being conducive with each other and the way Retin A works?
5-Once you've done the initial 8-12 weeks you should ideally use the lightstim about twice a week for maintenence. I must admit I don't and then remember to use it ad-hoc. When I use it now it still does a great job, even with ad-hoc use.
6-For me it works great on nose to mouth lines, forehead, mouth, and around the eyes. Tbh it hasn't really had much effect on my neck. Still a fab item for the price compared to the price and travelling time of going to a salon.

  20. Thank you for this video, Donna! I've seen the Lightstim being sold on one of the major television home-shopping channels, but didn't pay much attention, thinking it was just another money-grabbing gimmick that did nothing beneficial, most likely. Since I do have distressing crepe-y skin on my Left cheek, to which I can't seem to resign myself (I don't care if I am 75, I HATE it!), I think this product may be what I need. I'll be watching to see your video after another month of use. In the meantime, I can revisit the demos & spiel on that shopping channel. Thanks so much for doing this and sharing with us. Have a wonderful day! (:
