  1. Can I apply steam straight onto the leather (Vinyl) instead of tearing through the foam?

  6. Awesome video! Just one question. What kind of steamer did you use in the video to get the wrinkles out? I've been looking for something like that for a long time and no luck.

  7. Would this technique work on VW's "Leatherette" as they call it. I had a 2016 GTI SE PP for a few months and all the seats in it were perfect. Unfortunately the paint was not and had to go to a 2017 GTI SE, and this car unfortunately seems to be of a lesser quality. I can't tell for sure but it even seems like the Leatherette is not as soft and almost looks more like pleather than the 2016 seats. Anyway, before I even got in the car I quickly noticed wrinkles all over the left and right seat cushion "wing" bolster and the upper back part of the back seat is badly wrinkled too. It drives me nuts, I think it looks terrible being that it's a brand new 30k car. I showed it to the dealership and they said to wait till summer because the heat may make the seat puff out and tighten up the wrinkles.. Problem is, these seats seem to get wrinkled after time because of wear and I'm afraid the seats are going to look really bad before summer comes around. I live in PA, and winter just started... Bought the car in mid November. Thanks a lot!

  9. I have a shark handheld steamer would it be possible to remove the wrinkles out with this? It appears the previous owners my have had a baby car seat in place for a significant amount of time that left some damage more to my liking that I would like to attempt to fix myself if possible.
