    My graduation is in two days so I'm gonna try it to see if it actually works.

    Edit: Didn't work for me. My gown is still wrinkly like before and now has a little discoloration at some parts but you can barley see it from afar.

    Why put it on air dry? Just set the temperature to low....

    Thank you so much! Our local school had some trouble getting the gowns big enough for my son and his friend. I just got them this evening and graduation is tomorrow! You saved my rep. as the older mom with all the answers.

    Okay this worked. I just put a small wet wringed out washrag in with the gown and put the heat on low. Checked it every minute. Took about 7 min or so. Your mileage may vary. It was a polyester gown for my high school son's graduation that starts in 10 hours and 18 minutes!  Yee haw!  ;-)

    This is so cute. I just took a iron and risked it haha. I put it on about medium with a wet towel and it pressed it good. I made one mistake by ironing my velvet boarder. It didnt do a whole lot of damage, but I had to let it cool off so I can try to get the color even. It worked out :). I will try this again in 2015
