This is a little different video! I don't think I actually did a video specifically for the more mature skin type. Now that I'm getting older, I'm more concerned about things like wrinkles and wrinkles. I wanted to stop it, but without botox (for now!) So today's video is about how to get rid of wrinkles from your forehead, using simple massage techniques that you can try at home.

ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this vid Jess...I know this sounds weird but, when I massaged I felt those lumps too around my chin and jaw which have since gone and funnily enough I have not suffered one breakout since...do you think these fatty deposits were somehow coming through our skin? Makes me think! xx

ReplyDeleteGreat tips, Jess, I'll be trying them when I wash my face tonight. FYI, they call the wrinkles between the brows, elevens, because they look like the number 11.
ReplyDeleteAs you also stated, it's so important to be gentle with your skin. Too much heavy handed massaging, and there goes your skin's elasticity. Nobody wants jowls at 40. Your skin is looking so good, it's so important to treat wrinkles, and it's never too early to start.

ReplyDeleteI started accutane about a month ago and so far it has helped my skin. My skin is very similar to how yours was, it’s scars and is prone to hyper pigmentation/inflammation. Do you feel like it helped get rid of the hyper pigmentation?
I'm going to have to try this even thoguh that's not my problem area, mine are the smile lines...wonder if massaging those will help? P.S I'm a lot older than you so maybe not lol .Anyway, love ya channel x
ReplyDeleteHeya Jess, thank for the wrinkle advice. Even though I'm 23 I've been trying to make sure I also take steps to reduce signs of aging and wrinkles. I'll have to try these face massages out. I was a little skeptical at first because I thought massaging your face would weaken the collagen in your face, but I suppose it's all about being gentle. Hope you're well and see you in your next vid :)
