How to Treat Under Eye Wrinkles and Bags
As we age, there are some changes that can occur under the eyes. These include under eye wrinkles, skin loss, under eye holes, bags and under eye color changes. These changes can also occur at younger ages simply because of genetics or ethnic background. There are several treatment options available to address this change. Laser coating helps to tighten skin and release under eye wrinkles, fillers can restore volume to remove under eye holes and bags. Under eye color changes can be improved using lasers (Vbeam Perfecta) and bright creams. As always, prevention is important but as soon as these changes happen, they can be improved as they are never too late to take steps to always look for the best.

I graduated with a degree in medicine from UC Irvine and completed my residency in Dermatology at UCLA. After completing my residency, I joined the faculty at UCLA as a Clinical Lecturer and Professor in Dermatology and Dermatology Surgery. I then completed advanced fellowship training in Dermatology Surgery at UC Davis and Laser Cosmetic Dermatology and Northern California Skin Surgery Center with world-renowned expert, Dr. Suzanne Kilmer. After fellowship, I was appointed Director of Dermatology Surgery at Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California where I was active in clinical trials and was in the forefront of recent advances in aesthetics and dermatology. As a native of Orange County, I love the SoCal community and am now a Dermatologist in Newport Beach, CA.
My areas of expertise include cosmetic dermatology with a focus on injection neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin), as well as dermal fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, Sculptra, Restylane, Belotero, and Radiesse). In addition, I travel to national and international levels where I teach other doctor's injection techniques and about recent advances in dermatology. I am well trained in the use of lasers and energy-based devices to treat all aspects of photo appearance, including fine lines, wrinkles, skin fatigue, brown spots and facial expressions. I offer a comprehensive approach to body contouring using invasive minimal procedures. In addition, I specialize in Dermatology Surgery including Mohs micrographs surgery, blepharoplasty, skin cancer exclusion, sclerotherapy, ear surgery and cosmetic tattoo exclusion.

ReplyDeleteHi Dr! New subscriber here ๐ I stumbled across your channel & so happy I found you! Sadly, I never learned all this YEARRSS ago. In my early 60s and wish I lived in CA so I could see you! The dermatologist I did see said, "You need a total facelift." I left feeling hopeless...I thought I would at least be able to discuss fillers. ๐ฅ
