Types of Lingerie

Lingerie comes in all types and styles and has been used by women for centuries to feel good and boost their self-esteem as well as to attract their men. Lingerie is usually chosen according to its function. Since there is clothing to appeal, there are bedding such as underwear and underwear for relaxation, such as lounge pants. There are four types of underwear, which are quite common and these are chemises, camisoles, negligees and French knickers.

The Chemise

The chemise was once known as shifts and was a simple underwear. It is a short dress worn in a dress that falls slightly above the knee. It's meant to fit a woman's body without being too tight. The Camisole

Just like chemise, camisole just stops at the waist. This is one of the underwear that is the main ingredient for many women; almost every woman you know has a camisole or two. Although originally designed to function as a wardrobe, camisole has acquired a lot of flexibility in the past and is used in different ways. Used as still underwear, it is also used by women under their business clothes in lieu of traditional clothing. Made with luxurious fabrics and embellished, the camisole can be used as a night dress on a skirt or a pair of pants.

Negligees

Used for sleeping purposes, negligee is not a sleeping bag. The main difference though, lies in the construction and fabric used. Although bedding can be made out of cotton or wool, it is usually made from a kind of fabric such as silk or natural bamboo cloth. They are usually cut in lace, though not necessarily and are in fancy dress. Nego didn't initially reveal it and made it simple. Although it is still possible to get simple negligees, these underwear are often revealing and minimal. There are negligees beyond the knee but most stop far above.

French knickers

When you get the perfect French bridal gown, you really do have the luxury.
