DIY skin-softening shea butter anti-wrinkle face and body cream

Using exotic butter and oil, I have created beautiful skin, homemade beauty creams for my face, hands, and body. The moisturizing butter is very moisturizing with the consistency of lotions you will find in your younger years. May alleviate black spots and hyperpigmentation too.

Materials used:

BUTTERS:
1/4 cup unrefined organic shea butter
1/4 cup unrefined organic coconut butter
1/4 cup of unripe organic organic butter

OIL:
2 tablespoons jojoba oil
2 tbsp of macadamia peanut oil
2 tablespoons rosehip oil

Apply approximately to the desired consistency. I sometimes add oil during the harsh winter when more moisture is needed.

Boil water and put in a large bowl, add your bowl to a smaller bowl and place a small bowl in a larger bowl. Allow the butters to soften and thaw. When melted, stir-fry the knife or, using a hand grinder, mix the mixture for about a minute. Then put in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes or until the butters have hardened. Take the butters out of the fridge and add the oil. Mix with a hand grinder for 5-10 minutes or until you reach the consistency you want. Use morning and night. Keep it in a dark, cool place from the sun, preferably in a dark container.

  7. Thank you nice video.
What is the point of whipping it ?
Mine turns solid again after a day or two, of course I still melt it with my hands and use it.

  8. Just making this but at the point of putting it into the fridge mine look more like sunflower oil. Think it is because I used Mango rather then kokum butter because I hated the smell of kokum ? . Hope it still works

  9. Does it stay a lotion consistency? Want something lighter than a body butter. You achieve this consistency by mixing the butters THEN adding the oils compared to mixing everything at once?

  10. Nice video lady. Melting the butters slow as you did help prevent that graininess one can get from over heating them.

  11. Using the double boiler method is faster. It's better to incorporate ALL oils so before whipping. It allows for a more creamier consistency and eliminates the chance for separation.
