Oh drying that scares me being mature a little older than you ! I usually wear Estée Lauder perfectionist youth infusing foundation , and I wear morning aura primer / moisture cream !it’s a limited addition from Victoria Beckham but I love it and between the two , my skin looks amazing and lasts me well over 16 hrs for when I am busy ! But I was interested in this foundation but I don’t know ! Now I do not for me , thank you for your video ! I have the flawless filter also but only used it once ! Yes I can see pores ! Sorry ! Regards liz just an addition my Estée Lauder never settles and looks really good even towards the end of the day , but we all have different skins and want different things from our foundation ,

I found out thru trial and error I was using waaaaay too much lol

ReplyDeleteI hear so many reviews about foundation for oily skin. My T Zone is very dry, can you recommend a light to medium coverage for this type of skin?
It seems that my skin in the T Zone doesn't seem to absorb moisturiser very well & I end up looking cakey around the nares & on my nose. This area is reddened & very sensitive. I do get hot flushes but it doesn't translate to oily skin in the T Zone. Your recommendations would be great. Thanks for your YouTube channel! ReplyDeleteI often wonder how do you manage all the stuff that comes with being a YouTube beauty channel? Does it get overwhelming getting so much PR and having to buy so many things? How do you navigate what to keep, what to give away, and how to not end up with a huge amount of waste. I’ve been going through a declutter process of my own. It helps me get control of my space but I end up feeling so wasteful that I often can’t part with things I really do not need or want.

ReplyDeleteI have been trying this for the past few days and like you, I found the damp sponge was the way to go. It did not sink unto my lines with the sponge. When I used a brush, the application was too heavy and it did sink into lines although not pores. I did not find it drying and it did not break up on me. I used the FAB mattifying primer. I have a deluxe sample from Sephora but am not convinced I will buy the full size.
ReplyDeleteTHAT felt like it was stuck there!!! LOL!!!! I have heard SO much about this foundation needing SO much product and work to make it look alright. It needs help with lots of moisture and messing with. I have heard many say how it settles in lines and can look cakey and dry. PLUS with you saying you had to get 2 ($88!!) to get a good color match, NO MAGIC in this one!! I like your Chanel or the L'oreal better!

ReplyDeleteI would like to know what eye cream you recommend. I'm 57 and am beginning to get wrinkles under my eyes and they look a little saggy. I have been crying a lot due to my husband passing away two weeks ago today, but when I was getting ready for his service today, I've never seen my under eye area look so bad. I've come to the conclusion that if a company is asking me to pay that much, the foundation needs to do my dishes and vacuum my house along with being the best thing I've ever put on my face. On the plus side, each of these reviews helps me understand clearly the difference between marketing and what actually works on the human face. Thank you!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI've found my fav way to wear this is only using 1 pump and using my beauty blender. I have to use my dewy skin cream and tatcha sunscreen underneath and I use a hydrating primer too I prefer the glowing skin look and it's not matte when I do all that and I actually like it it's not budge proof though. I use her airbrush powder on top.

ReplyDeleteAngie, love your Hot and Flashy channel! Your Botox is wearing off and you look so much better and natural looking and you are able to actually make facial expressions. It also makes your channel a little more credible. It’s ok to age, let’s see how you look again without injections, when you let it go before, you actually looked more beautiful than when you get a fill.

ReplyDeleteHi, I pulled out the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour full coverage foundation from my drawer (forgot I had it) oh my did it wear well. I have mature, textured skin, oily in the t-zone. I don’t know why I don’t wear it more often, it did well on my skin that makes makeup ‘disappear’. Would love your review of it :-)
