How to have frown and forehead anti-wrinkle injections without looking like Mr Spock!

ReplyDeletewhat do you suggest for someone who uniquely has opposing muscles, the orbicularis oculi being the main muscle lifting the brow, frontalis not providing any lift. iv seen this on individuals with a high / elongated forehead (the girl in the video has a very short forehead) or as you described, "an aging persons arch" who wants to keep the arch but also achieve lift of full brow area

ReplyDeletei get what i call a 'jack nicholson' every time.. a line above my eyebrow. i always end up having to go back for more haha. ive also had a pstosis once. it did wear off after a few weeks but, wow, it drove me crazy.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I recently started having parts of my forehead done and although I trust my plastic surgeon a person can never have too much knowledge. After all, it's OUR faces. The model is lovely but she looks young to start botox-ing. Her lips are full but maybe too full? That is, of course, only my opinion. I love these videos and I'm glad I found this site. ReplyDeleteGreat explaination from the Doc, but the model is waaay overdone with Botox and her lips are awful, too pumped up (The duck look) and totally not even?? Why would a pretty girl do that to herself!?? She does not look human!

ReplyDeletethankyou so much, I am a new practitioner and have done exactly this same mistake, because they told me never to inject so close, shock horror, but have learnt the hard way and due to your wonderful guidance will never do it again, but most importantly know how to get them back for further review and reverse this problem for us. oh question where can I get a vein finder and a little light vibrator tool? ReplyDeleteHi, does the device you use to find the blood vessels also work when using dermal fillers? Ever since I discovered that you can go blind (albeit a rare event) it has kind of put me off.

ReplyDeleteWell, I actually have naturally hooded eyelids and eyebrows that turn downward so I actually LIKE a bit of lift at the outer edges and specifically ask to keep injections light on the lateral part of my forehead. I see I am not alone in this preference! ;)

ReplyDeleteI recently had Botox for the first time at age 62. My forehead is smooth as when I was a kid, but right now my eyebrows feel so heavy and are actually giving me a bit of a fretful look. I can't wait for this to wear off a bit. I probably won't get more.

Im new the the cosmetic industry and have just completed my anti-wrinkle injections training, and what you had explained to do by injecting the outer lateral area i was told not too. So now im not sure what i should do, since im new to the industry. Do i continue to inject as i was trained or raise this with the company i work for and explain the issue with them.
