ReplyDeleteI have oily skin and tried the hourglass primer with Estee Lauder Double Wear and I hated it. I looked shiny and my face felt greasy. I couldn't get it to work for me :( I Will try the Dermatologia!
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who used the Too Faced Primer, what did you guys use as a moisturizer? I used this primer and the Aveeno daily moisturizer and it started to ball up. I have a feeling it’s because they are two different formulations. Any help?

ReplyDeleteTry the Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer!! It’s amazing for pore filling, oil control and mattifying! We have the same skin type and I swear by it!

ReplyDeleteThe Tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen is basically the silk canvas in a tube with sunscreen. It works great for me!!
ReplyDeleteI wish the hourglass primer absorbed into my skin more. It keeps me so matte but also makes me look ghostly. I wish the color could be clear.

ReplyDeleteHi Nikkia, have you tried the cover fx mattifying anti blemish primer? I also have incredibly oily skin and this has been a miracle breakthrough! My routine now consists of: yes to tomatoes charcoal micellar cleansing water, Niacinamide solution, cover fx primer, sleek lifeproof concealer, boots no7 beautifully matte foundation, rcma no colour powder. I can't wear moisturiser in the day so I wear squalene or rosehip oil at night! You might recognise a few of your recommendations in there! I can now use whatever other powder products I please over the top and I don't look a greasy mess in 2 hours... I can literally go 12 hours and not worry how oily I am I look in the mirror and actually think I still look ok! No breakdown of foundation not worried if I accidentally touch my face I'll be patchy! I'd love to see if this routine works for you and others in the comments! 💙💛💚
